Is Halloween out? Are Saints cool?

Halloween is a word from “all hallow’s even” (evening), that is, the night before All Hallow’s Day (All Saint’s Day, November 1st). Later the spelling “Hallowe’en” was frequently used. Hallow even, without ‘v’, became Halloween.

Halloween has become synonymous with candy, costumes, scary stuff, witches, ghosts and pumpkins. You know those words.
But things are changing… holy “Halloween” is coming back. So, are you going to wear a St Patrick, St Agnes, St Francis of Assisi, St Anthony or St Helen costume?

You can play "Night of light" instead of boring "Halloween"!
